Modeling the Turbulence Spectrum Dissipation Range for Leading-Edge Noise Prediction

Noise pollution caused by inflow turbulence is a major problem in many applications, e.g., propellers and fans. The Amiet leading-edge noise prediction model widely applied the design of silent fans, strongly relying on accuracy spectrum. von Kármán energy spectrum accurately models energy-containing range inertial subrange However, this does not incorporate dissipation turbulent leads to incorrect far-field estimates high-frequency range.
